Sports Biomechanics

Move better. Stay safer. Keep doing what you love.

Sports biomechanics is the practical science of how people move — how we balance, land, turn, stop, run, walk, lift, recover and protect the body from avoidable strain.

After 30 years lecturing in sports biomechanics, working with athletes, coaches, police mounted units and Olympic and Paralympic-level competitors, Colleen Kelly now offers practical movement education for clubs, schools, coaches, parents, athletes, active adults, seniors and NDIS-related support settings.

These sessions are designed to be clear, useful and memorable — not heavy academic lectures. The aim is simple: help people understand their bodies better, move more safely, and make smarter decisions before injuries happen.

Short audio guides and movement notes

For people who want something simple to take home, short audio guides and plain-English movement notes are being developed for athletes, coaches, parents, walkers, runners, seniors and dog owners.

These will be practical, easy-to-follow resources — the kind of thing you can listen to before training, walking, coaching or helping someone move more safely.
